Ace was planning to come, before last night's events.
After that, she didn't feel like doing much of anything.
However, she has found that certain ajahs can be very persuasive (read: bullying) when they want to get their way. Ace wasn't about to be left brooding, alone.
So instead, there's an Ace in a slightly toned-down version of Gallifreyan robes (aka there's no way in hell she's wearing the hat), with a rectangular, brightly wrapped box tucked under one arm, curtsying to the birthday girl.
