It's small enough to hold one-handed: about a foot long, and a few inches wide, wrapped in bright purple paper and tied with ribbons. River slips her hand free of Ingress's to take it anyway, and passes it to the birthday girl with great care, as if it's something fragile and possibly squirmy.
